Jonathan represents corporate policyholders in complex insurance disputes.
Jonathan’s practice concentrates on complex insurance recovery disputes on behalf of corporate policyholders. He represents clients on all major forms of insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, directors and officers liability (D&O), business interruption, event cancellation, employment practices liability, and products liability, among others.
Jonathan has a breadth of litigation experience that includes taking depositions, successfully arguing dispositive motions, participating in mediations, arbitrations, and trials. He has handled numerous first-party property insurance disputes from the claims stage to litigation, including initial pleadings through discovery, motions practice, and trial or alternative dispute resolution. He has extensive experience with hurricane claims.
Prior to entering private practice, Jonathan served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Miami-Dade County Office of the State Attorney. While in law school, Jonathan served as a law clerk in Ohio’s Eighth District Court of Appeals. Prior to attending law school, Jonathan taught high school Chemistry through the Teach for America Program in Miami, Florida.
