Professional Biography

JoAnne A. Epps has been Dean of the Temple University Beasley School of Law since 2008. She has been a frequent speaker on Evidence and Advocacy both domestically and internationally, and is frequently consulted on issues involving legal education.

Dean Epps is the author or co-author of a number of academic publications, including The Winning Argument and The Twelve Secrets of Persuasive Argument, both written with Paul Mark Sandler and Ronald J. Waicukauski.

Dean Epps received her B.A. degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. in 1973 and her J.D. degree from Yale Law School in 1976. Dean Epps was honorary co-chair of the Critical Issues Summit.
