Joanna Colacurcio represents and advises employers on a broad range of employment and labor law matters. She represents employers in federal and state court litigation and before administrative agencies in a variety of matters arising from the employment relationship, including discrimination and retaliation, harassment, whistleblower claims, wage and hour disputes, unfair labor practices, restrictive covenants, and employment-related tort and contract disputes. Joanna also defends employers and individuals against claims of sexual harassment in the workplace and the educational environment.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Joanna worked in the Legal Department of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, representing the agency in administrative hearings regarding employee misconduct, training employees and counseling management on employment and labor issues.
In law school, Joanna was a member and coach for New York Law School's Moot Court Association, competing in multiple competitions across the country.
