Jillian Meek Mueller is an associate in the St. Louis, Missouri office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Jillian focuses on assisting clients with thorny and sensitive workplace issues to minimize business disruption and avoid negative public attention.
Jillian represents her clients in administrative, state, and federal cases at all stages, from charge to final appeal. She also specializes in investigations and counsel regarding disputes prior to litigation being filed, with an eye toward litigation prevention. In addition, she provides her clients advice, policy drafting, and training in litigation avoidance. She has guided clients through disputes involving claims of discrimination, sexual harassment and gender-based violence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, breach of contract, FMLA interference and retaliation, Equal Pay Act claims, whistleblower retaliation, and civil rights violations.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Jillian served as an assistant attorney general for the State of Missouri. She served as lead trial counsel on a wide variety of matters, including civil rights, wrongful death, employment, and contract dispute cases. She brings her experience gained from arguing in front of the jury in high-exposure cases to the advice she gives her clients at all stages of litigation. Jillian also served as law clerk to the Honorable José M. Lòpez of the D.C. Superior Court following her graduation from law school.
