Jianlin Song began her professional life as a physician, and today focuses her product liability legal practice on litigation and compliance issues involving medical device and pharmaceutical products. She also has experience defending medical malpractice and other health care matters. Jianlin has defended manufacturers and distributors of enzyme supplements, joint prostheses and clinical laboratories. She has appeared before the federal and state courts in California and successfully argued various dispositive, discovery and pre-trial motions. Jianlin also has experience advising biomedical companies on FDA compliance issues. Prior to joining Wilson Elser, she represented companies in various industries, including silica, welding rod, chemical products, and mechanical and labor contractors.
Additionally, Jianlin counsels small businesses and provides legal services to Chinese companies on matters relating to formation, operation and routine business activities. She helps Chinese companies establish their presence in California and operate in compliance with pertinent laws and regulations.
