Jeff Beemer is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice in employment litigation under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Tennessee Human Rights Act (THRA). Jeff represents employers in matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Tennessee Human Rights Commission. Jeff provides daily advice and counseling to employers on a variety of state and federal employment laws. Jeff also has experience defending clients in contract and commercial litigation, transportation, products liability and tort litigation. Jeff has experience in defending county governments and civil rights in governmental tort liability litigation in state and federal courts.
From 1995 to 1996, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Hewitt P. Tomlin, Jr., presiding judge for the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Western Section.
