Jane Wise focuses her practice on counseling and enforcement of matters related to trademark, false advertising, unfair competition, and copyright litigation. Jane advises clients on trademark portfolio management, including protecting their valuable brands through federal court litigation and administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Jane worked as an associate at a boutique IP law firm in Washington, DC. She also previously served as the legal intern at the Smithsonian Institution for the Office of General Counsel, where she worked on a variety of matters including trademark clearance, preparing for the launch of generic top-level domains, and copyright law. Jane also worked for the College Art Association on a research grant studying the practical application of copyright fair use for modern artists.
