James Bartling is a Partner at Nelson Mullins' Boston office. Jim serves as the Head of the firm's Corporate Finance Industry Group and concentrates his practice on corporate finance transactions. His experience includes representing banks, alternative/private credit providers and borrowers across various debt investments, including acquisition finance, distressed debt, specialty finance, repurchase agreements, real estate, asset-based lending, working capital facilities, equipment finance, recapitalizations, restructuring, cross-border workout, and bankruptcy, with a focus on middle market companies. He has experience representing agents, arrangers, lenders, private equity sponsors, and borrowers across a variety of debt products, including senior, unitranche, second-lien and mezzanine financings. He also has experience representing owners and investors in commercial real estate transactions.
