James Vant is a litigation, trial, and appellate attorney with experience representing a broad spectrum of U.S. and international clients in connection with domestic and international proceedings in federal and state courts throughout the United States, including claims involving securities, trade secrets, employment, fraud, breach of contract, fiduciary duty, and bankruptcy law. James also represents clients in a wide variety of non-litigation business transactions, disputes, and internal corporate investigations concerning U.S. and international law. In addition, he counsels clients on risk mitigation strategies, information management and records retention, and data privacy and protection as well as advises clients on an array of issues relating to electronically stored information (ESI) and eDiscovery, James also represents companies responding to civil investigative demands under the federal False Claims Act and state laws and enforcement actions brought by the United States Department of Justice, state attorneys general, and other federal and state regulatory agencies.
