James is based in our London office, where he specialises in domestic and international energy, construction and engineering disputes. He has broad experience of advising a variety of public and private sector clients, including employers, contractors and consultants.

James has experience of all major forms of dispute resolution, including arbitration, litigation, adjudication and mediation. He also has experience of using a variety of bespoke and standard form contracts. His work has spanned a number of sectors, including:

Renewable energy
Chemicals processing
Residential and commercial development
Oil and gas
Transport

James has previously worked in Paris and he has experience of disputes relating to projects in the UK, Africa, USA and the Middle East.
