James F. Timko is an associate attorney at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky. James’s practice primarily focuses on litigation, with an emphasis on commercial litigation, real estate, and business disputes. He started with the firm as a summer associate and joined full-time upon graduation from law school.
James graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in May 2022, where he was a Bluebook Editor for the Pittsburgh Tax Review and served as a teaching assistant for a Legal Analysis & Writing course. While at Pitt, James served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Steven N. Berk of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia and as an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he worked as a research assistant for Professor Judith Teeter helping to develop legal writing assignments for first-year law students.
