Jacob devotes his practice to meeting the legal and tax needs of charities, private foundations, community foundations, and churches so that these organizations can focus on serving the city of Chicago and beyond. He advises organizations during the start-up process and throughout their entire life cycle, as well as individuals and for-profit entities that collaborate with these organizations. Jacob helps charitable organizations, family offices, and individuals navigate the complex laws governing exempt organizations, manage their day-to-day operational needs, and plan for strategic change and organizational growth.
