Jacob (Jake) Michael Bass advises on all aspects of intellectual property law and has represented numerous clients involved in disputes relating to pharmaceuticals. He has experience with a wide range of medical devices and pharmaceutical technologies that treat diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, cosmetic ailments, reproductive issues and dementia. Jake has also concentrated on products that treat gastrointestinal disorders and cancer.
Jake works closely with companies seeking to protect their hard-earned reputations. To that end, he has represented companies in patent, trademark, and copyright litigations in federal district courts and in investigations before the International Trade Commission (ITC). Additionally, he has represented clients in cases related to trade secret misappropriation, false advertising, unfair competition and antitrust claims. Outside of life sciences, Jake has advised clients across various industries, including consumer electronics, manufacturing, apparel, broadcast media, automation and construction.
While in law school, Jake was the Managing Editor for Boston College’s Journal of Law and Social Justice.
