Mr. Soule is a student associate in the Mechanical Group. His work focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications for various mechanical, electromechanical, and biomedical technologies. Additionally, he supports work in Patent Office Litigation, including ex parte reexamination and inter partes review proceedings.
Prior to joining Sterne Kessler, Mr. Soule worked at the USPTO for four years, examining U.S. and Chapter II PCT patent applications related to heat exchange and thermal control systems. Other areas of his concentration at the PTO included nuclear cooling towers, electronic heat pipe and sink design, vehicular HVAC and powertrain cooling, automatic HVAC control systems, process control, LNG production and cryogenics.
