Mr. Deitch engages in a general corporate and commercial law practice, focusing on commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, including commercial and asset-based loans, securitizations, and issuance of equity and debt securities in offerings exempt from registration. His practice includes entity organization and general corporate counseling of both for profit and not for profit corporations. He represents issuers, underwriters, financial institutions and borrowers in tax-exempt financing, as well as a variety of closely held business enterprises and not for profit social service and educational organizations.

Before joining Dykema, Mr. Deitch was a Member of a major Chicago law firm. Prior to that, he clerked for Chief Justice Roger J. Traynor of the California Supreme Court.
