For the better part of two decades, Harris has served as a trusted counselor to employers. His litigation practice focuses on restrictive covenants, discrimination, employee benefits, wage and hour, class action, and appellate matters. Harris also has an extensive practice in cybersecurity and is a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with a focus on U.S. privacy law. Harris has won a number of significant appellate victories for his clients including published cases which set forth the state of the law of restrictive covenants in New Jersey. He has successfully represented clients in numerous high-stakes matters, including those involving trade secrets. Harris is a successful trial lawyer having won major victories for his clients in various forums and formats in New Jersey and New York, including jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations. Prior to Ogletree, Harris spent 14 years at a leading regional law firm where he was was a partner, as well as Chair of the firm’s Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice and Co-Chair of the Trade Secrets & Non-Competes Practice. Harris began his career at a large national law firm where he worked out of their New Jersey office for four years.
