Gaby M. Mercurio is an Associate in Vedder Price’s Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment group.
Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. Mercurio reviewed contracts with third-party vendors, drafted position statements and assisted with corporate investigations. In addition, she researched legal issues concerning the formation and operation of non profit organizations. Finally, she partnered with a general counsel to craft communication notices for employees involving changes in employment status, benefits and department operations.
Ms. Mercurio has collaborated with a human resources consultant to manage and improve employee relations and written policies and procedures for hiring and training temporary employees. She has also reviewed and summarized proposals from potential licensees and vendors.
Ms. Mercurio received her law degree from Notre Dame Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. While in law school, Ms. Mercurio was president of the Food and Beverage Law Club, treasurer of the Asian Law Students Association, a part of the leadership team of the Galilee Public Interest Immersion Program and a student ambassador for BarBri. In addition, as an undergraduate, Ms. Mercurio served as the president of the Asian American Association.
