Professional Biography

Frank Mock has a broad background in real estate transactions, development and finance, corporate and securities, healthcare and general litigation. With more than 35 years of legal experience, Frank has been involved in numerous workout and debt restructurings involving commercial real estate and residential loans, and developer credits totaling in excess of one billion dollars, including the sale and purchase of loans or REO assets, the structuring of deed in lieu transactions, and uncontested foreclosures, receiverships, auctions, multi-state debt restructurings, asset swaps, deficiency note provisions and collateral pool arrangements. Frank has handled all types of real estate lending and acquisition transactions including land acquisition, development, construction, gap permanent financing and term and revolving loans for all types of commercial and residential endeavors. He has also been involved in ground lease and sale-leaseback transactions on a subordinated and unsubordinated basis, equity, shared appreciation and cash flow participations, mezzanine financing, synthetic leases and joint venture agreements involving institutional and developer clients. In addition, Frank has experience in matters involving for profit and not-for-profit long-term healthcare and senior living facilities, including independent and assisted living continuing care retirement communities and nursing homes. He has represented both lenders and facilities providers in taxable and tax-exempt financing for such projects.
