Edward V. Jeffrey is a Principal in the White Plains, New York office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice is focused on traditional labor law.
In the context of union organizing, Mr. Jeffrey has represented employers before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), provided management training, advice and counsel regarding strategy and communications, and has defended employers against unfair labor practice charges. In collective bargaining situations, Mr. Jeffrey has negotiated management-friendly contracts for employers, participated in strategic planning, provided management training and advice regarding contract administration and the preservation of management rights, and represented employers in labor arbitrations. Mr. Jeffrey also has advised employers responding to sophisticated corporate campaigns conducted by unions in the context of organizing and collective bargaining, and has participated in a number of unfair labor practice trials before the NLRB.
In addition, Mr. Jeffrey has provided management training and advice to employers regarding preventive employee relations and the avoidance of union organizing and other workplace issues.
While attending law school, he served as an Articles Editor on the Buffalo Law Review.
