Eddie Whang is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Patent Law Group. As a registered attorney before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, he has experience in various areas of intellectual property law, including patent litigation, invalidity/noninfringement and freedom-to-operate opinions, intellectual property due diligence and patent prosecution.
Eddie also has been involved in evaluating patents for inclusion in certain multiparty licensing programs. His work on the patent licensing programs concentrates on high-technology patent issues pertaining to a variety of fields, including optical disc technologies, video formatting and compression technologies and other technologies.
