Dorota Anna James is an Associate at Dinsmore's San Diego office. Dorota focuses her practice on labor and employment law. Her experience includes complex class and representative action litigation, and providing advice and counsel to her clients seeking to navigate the complicated and ever-changing legal framework in California. She also works to guide clients with respect to exposure, practical litigation challenges, and equitable resolutions.
Prior to joining Dinsmore, Dorota represented employees in wage and hour class actions and representative PAGA actions. This experience provides Dorota with a unique and inside perspective into plaintiffs’ litigation strategy. She also defended emerging technology companies, small businesses, and individuals in tort actions.
Raised in Poland, Dorota (pronounced Door-O-Tah) graduated with honors from the University of Wroclaw. She later moved to Germany, where she earned a masters and doctorate in law with honors. Dorota attended the University of San Diego where she received her masters of law with honors.
