Don Walker is a partner at the firm’s Houston office. He is a member of the Health Care and FDA practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Don served in both in-house and governmental roles. He served as the director and senior legal counsel at a nationally ranked, women's and children's hospital located in Houston. There he advised provider entities and a provider led health plan regarding corporate operations and healthcare services, including pharmacy, managed care, billing, and global health programs. He also served as an Assistant Regional Counsel for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services where he represented the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in all phases of litigation, including before Administrative Law Judges and the Departmental Appeals Board.
