Desislava S. Kalcheva is an attorney in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.
While in law school, Ms. Kalcheva was President of the University of San Diego, School of Law’s Employment and Labor Law Society, Chief Comments Editor of the San Diego International Law Journal, and a Moot Court Associate Board Member. Ms. Kalcheva completed a judicial externship with the Honorable William V. Gallo of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and a San Diego County Bar Association Diversity Fellowship with Sempra Energy. Ms. Kalcheva also earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Employment Law & Technology and worked as a research assistant to Professor Orly Lobel, Don Weckstein Professor of Employment and Labor Law.
