David Coombs is a Director at Goulston & Storrs' Boston office. He is a business and securities law counselor and transactional attorney who focuses his broad corporate practice in the commercial real estate and investment management industries. He also advises sponsors and investors in the formation of private investment funds. Dave serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Corporate group and co-leads the firm’s Corporate Real Estate practice.
Dave brings an unconventional background to his practice. He started in the software industry while pursuing mathematics and computer science at MIT, and continued for several years as a software designer and project manager. Dave has found that his training in creative problem-solving and strategic thinking applies broadly across industry lines. Clients also appreciate his familiarity with “real world” issues facing managers and decision-makers and the need for practical solutions.
