Mr. Jackson is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property group. Before joining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable John Pelander at the Arizona Supreme Court and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable James A. Teilborg in the U.S. District Court in Arizona, where his experience included drafting memoranda, orders, and opinions for the judge to review, reviewing briefs and motions filed to the court, and conducting legal research.
While in law school, Mr. Jackson was actively involved in Junior Law/CourtWorks, an outreach program focused on teaching middle school students about the Constitution and their constitutional rights. He collaborated with Judge Mary H. Murguia to expand the program to reach 2,000+ students at more than 12 schools in the Phoenix area.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Jackson was an elementary school teacher and served as a Faculty Advisor for Teach For America in Houston.
