David Gibson focuses his practice on commercial healthcare, with a background in providing commercial, corporate and financial advice to healthcare clients. His areas of specialty include procurement, outsourcing and “insourcing” of clinical and non-clinical healthcare services, private patient services, healthcare regulatory, advice on medical device regulations as well as leading specialist projects, such as the NHS Proton Beam project. David’s skill extends to international healthcare; he has spoken and lectured widely on international health projects and PPP models to Latin American and Chinese delegations and as part of initiatives with the Department of International Trade.
David has additional strength within a range of transactional disciplines, including experience in complex procurements, capital build projects, PFI variations and refinancings, acquisitions, mergers and partnering arrangements in healthcare and life sciences, including healthcare digital technology.
