Daniel Mirarchi is a seasoned litigator who represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of cases, including transportation, breach of contract, shareholder disputes, real estate transactions, insurance bad faith, data breaches, employment matters and complex insurance coverage. These cases range from high-stakes, “bet the company” matters to helping everyday people who have been wronged. 

Dan works with companies to make sure that their proprietary and sensitive business information is secure. When a breach has occurred, Dan has assisted his clients through legal proceedings and guided them on data breach notification laws. He also has represented clients on employment matters involving restrictive covenants in employment agreements, including securing injunctive relief, and has counselled clients on the Defend Trade Secrets Act and its state counterparts. Dan also has drafted privacy policies, user agreements and other necessary contracts for his clients with consumer-facing websites. 

With extensive experience in investor protection issues, Dan has litigated under federal securities law and state law governing fiduciary duties. He also has represented shareholders who wished to enforce their right to inspect the books and records of corporations in which they have invested, a process that allows them to investigate whether a corporate board was involved in any wrongdoing or turned a blind eye to unlawful acts.
