Courtney Mertes focuses her practice on labor and employment law. She comes to Davis Wright Tremaine with a background in a broad range of legal work, including experience as a paralegal, a law clerk for a large coffee company, and internships with a judge and the public defender's office. Her educational background includes study in employment law and international business, particularly in the Pacific Rim, as well as study in Central and South America.
