Christina Payne-Tsoupros advises public and private companies, multiemployer plans, tax-exempt organizations, and governmental employers on the design, governance, operation, and compliance of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. Chris advises plan sponsors and financial service providers on the fiduciary and prohibited transaction rules of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). She also negotiates investment management and other investment-related agreements, and counsels clients on plan fiduciary governance structures and compliance with US state law fiduciary responsibility provisions.
