Carrie Marie Raver is a partner in the Litigation Department of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. She concentrates her practice on commercial disputes and insurance recovery matters. Ms. Raver is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group, and Policyholder Insurance Recovery and Counseling Practice Group.
Ms. Raver represents clients in various complex commercial litigation matters, including insurance policy enforcement, service agreements, patent infringement, business torts, and UCC disputes. Ms. Raver has successfully defended clients, and recovered millions of dollars from insurers on behalf of policyholder clients in coverage disputes involving first-party property, business interruption, third-party liability, professional liability, fiduciary liability, and directors and officers policies. Ms. Raver’s insurance policy enforcement practice is also comprised of advising policyholders as to program development, policy negotiation and placement, notice, cooperation, communications with insurance companies, and their rights in the event of a claim and where insurers issue reservation of rights.
