Caroline is an associate in the Toronto office of Ogletree Deakins. Caroline also completed summer student and articling terms at the firm.
Caroline is developing a broad labour and employment law practice. Throughout her time with the firm, Caroline has assisted with wrongful dismissal litigation, policy and disciplinary grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, and other labour relations proceedings. She has also helped draft submissions, employment contracts, and workplace policies.
Caroline holds a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
While in law school, Caroline played two seasons for the Queen’s Varsity Ice Hockey team. In her final season, she served as ‘Assistant Captain’, was voted ‘Team MVP’ by her coaches, and won the teammate-voted award selecting the player who best exudes team-oriented attributes. Caroline also played three seasons of NCAA Division I hockey for Cornell University. As a seasoned competitive athlete, Caroline values the importance of teamwork, accountability, efficiency and working in a supportive environment. She hopes to implement these characteristics into her practice and foster collaborative client relationships.
Prior to law school, Caroline was a teaching assistant at a maximum-security prison and was involved in a mentorship program for young girls learning to play hockey.
