Brient’s experience in the healthcare field includes serving while in law school as the area executive analyst for The Resource Group supporting the Ascension St. Vincent Indiana Health Market, which consists of over 20 hospitals. He worked closely with supply chain and hospital leadership, such as CNOs, CFOs, and COOs, to provide analytical support to reduce the health system’s overall supply expense.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg as an associate, Brient was a law clerk for the firm, where he conducted a multi-state survey of local Medicaid rules relating to licensing issues such as change of ownership, change of director or manager and Medicaid enrollment applications. 

While an undergraduate, Brient was captain of the Wabash College football team and studied abroad in Germany.
