Brian O'Neill has practiced in the energy area for more than 35 years. He primarily represents natural gas, oil, and LNG companies, pipelines, and electric utilities on regulatory matters before the Department of Energy, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and federal courts. He also advises clients with respect to corporate and commercial matters and on energy privatization and energy acquisition and supply. He has litigated regulatory proceedings involving complex ratemaking issues, new multimillion-dollar construction projects, and transportation, transmission, and supply contract matters.
Recent matters he has handled include the preparation and prosecution of pipeline certificate proceedings at FERC, preparation of precedent and transportation agreements for new pipeline lateral projects, pipeline rate case preparation, and regulatory due diligence for an LNG export project.
