Anthony Greene is an associate in Cadwalader’s Financial Restructuring Group. His practice includes distressed financings and acquisitions, out-of-court and in-court domestic and international corporate restructurings, bankruptcies, liquidations, corporate dissolutions, and other insolvency matters. Most recently, Anthony was recognized in the 2023 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law.
Anthony received a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from University of Southern California, where he was awarded the 2014 American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence for outstanding performance in Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring. He served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Catherine E. Bauer in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
Anthony has been a member of teams representing debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, DIP lenders, acquirers of assets, and other interested parties across a broad range of industries including energy, oil and gas, healthcare, hospitality, consumer retail, gaming, automotive, payments, and cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
