During law school, Andrew served for two years as an editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review. Starting as a staff editor and ascending to the role of publications editor on the executive board, he played a pivotal role in shaping the publication's content and ensuring the highest editorial standards.
Outside of work, Andrew is a committed volunteer and Eagle Scout with a wide range of experience, including serving as a federal prison visitation volunteer, where he developed exceptional listening skills and a heightened ability to empathize and communicate effectively. Andrew's commitment to community service also extended to Flint, Michigan, where he volunteered as a water distributor during the infamous Flint water crisis, deepening his capacity to engage with communities in times of need.
