Amy is an intellectual property attorney who focuses her practice on patent litigation before federal district courts and the International Trade Commission. She has experience drafting motions and briefs and researching privacy issues. Amy was a Summer Associate at Mintz in 2022.
While earning her JD, Amy interned with a Massachusetts-based 3D printer manufacturer, where she conducted compliance audits for privacy regulations and drafted non-disclosure agreements, license agreements, patent claim language, and responses to office actions issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office. She also worked as a research analyst and junior communications manager at Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Education Redesign Lab and interned with the Volunteer Lawyers Project, serving in the organization’s consumer and housing units.
In law school, Amy served as a staff writer, staff editor, and executive editor for the BC Law’s Intellectual Property and Technology Forum Journal. She also participated in the Project Entrepreneur Clinic as a student attorney and volunteered with the Lawyers Clearinghouse CORI Clinic and General Legal Clinic.
Prior to law school, while working as a Teach for America corps member, Amy taught high school chemistry and engineering. During that time, she was selected for Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Research Experiences for Teachers program, which is sponsored by the National Science Foundation, to work at the MIT Haystack Observatory.
