Amy passed the Customs Broker Exam in October 2020 and is slated to received her license in 2021.
Amy has extensive experience assisting US and foreign companies on a variety of international trade compliance issues.
Amy has extensive experience assisting clients with a broad ranges of issues concerning international trade compliance, including those relating to the tariff classification of products, duty mitigation, Section 232 and Section 301 tariffs, country of origin verifications for duty preference programs and Trade Agreement Act compliance, prior disclosures, reconciliation, and duty drawback. She works with clients to develop and improve import compliance programs, perform compliance gap analyses and audits, and conducts trainings on utilizing the Automated Commercial Environment (“ACE”) portal for both import and export compliance. Amy has expertise in the utilization and analysis of the HTSUS, WCO Explanatory Notes and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Rulings to conduct import classification reviews across industries, including automotive, textiles, and medical devices. She also conducts document reviews, analyzes large volumes of data, including ACE, ITRAC, AES, and other import and export data, and organizes large document productions.
