She has over fifteen years experience counseling clients on trademark availability, registration, licensing and enforcement, including opposition and cancellation proceedings in the Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Horne also has significant intellectual property litigation experience.
Ms. Horne has counseled numerous clients in a variety of industries, including semiconductors, software, banking, entertainment, education and wine. She has obtained favorable settlements in many trademark disputes, including registered trademarks, trade names and domain names. Ms. Horne possesses a wealth of knowledge gained through representation of a wide variety of domestic and foreign clients in the many areas of trademark and copyright law, with a focus on trademark counseling, prosecution and issues involving the Internet. She has counseled a wide array of clients ranging from start-ups to well established businesses on domain name issues and trademark usage on the Internet. She has also represented national and international semiconductor chip manufacturers in patent infringement lawsuits involving semiconductor circuit and process technology.
