Alexandra Hemenway represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters. She focuses her practice on representing and counseling employers in all areas of employment law, including matters involving claims for harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour violations and whistleblower claims. Her practice focuses primarily on employment litigation in federal and state courts and proceedings before state and local administrative agencies. In addition, Ms. Hemenway counsels employers and human resources professionals in all aspects of employment law compliance and best practices, including through drafting, review and implementation of employment policies and procedures, employee handbooks, and wage and hour audits to prevent employment-related disputes before they arise.
Ms. Hemenway also has extensive experience in regards to labor law matters. She has participated and assisted employers during union negotiations, organizing campaigns and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
