Alexander P. Orlowski is an associate in Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Indianapolis office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. He is also a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Motorsports, and Logistics and Transportation practice groups.
Mr. Orlowski concentrates his practice in the area of complex business and commercial litigation involving a broad range of substantive areas, including contracts, business torts, trade secrets, product liability, and real property. Mr. Orlowski has experience representing clients at virtually all stages of litigation in both state and federal courts in jurisdictions throughout the United States. Mr. Orlowski has litigated multi-million dollar jury trials in New York, Maryland, and Indiana, and has also represented clients in mediation and arbitration settings.
Recently, Mr. Orlowski’s practice has focused on protecting business interests and contractual rights in the logistics, transportation, construction, and commercial software industries. In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Orlowski has researched and been published in the field of voter turnout and civic engagement. His work was featured in regional, national, and international media outlets throughout the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections.
