Abraham Benson has a talent for cutting through legal minutiae to provide straightforward legal counsel that empowers clients and helps them reduce their property tax liability. He has extensive valuation experience in a wide variety of commercial properties, including industrial, retail, office, multifamily and hospitality. He also advises clients on personal property tax matters and counsels taxpayers on property tax exemptions and abatements.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Abraham managed the Indiana office for Ryan Property Tax Services. While at Ryan, Abraham advised clients on their Indiana properties to help them better understand Indiana property taxation. He also worked closely with county officials across the state to help reduce his clients’ property tax assessments and regularly provided property tax due diligence reports and tax estimates detailing the potential impact a sale or purchase of real estate could have on future property assessments.
Personal Interests
Abraham enjoys spending his free time with his wife and their little Pomeranian, Pippa. He likes cooking and grilling at home, but trying new restaurants around Indianapolis is a favorite activity.
