U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will hold a stakeholder webinar Wednesday, July 30, 2014, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EST). This is an opportunity for stakeholders to learn more about the functionality of the new USCIS Electronic Immigration System (ELIS) Form I-526, Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur, and the corresponding document library.
During the webinar, USCIS will demonstrate usability of the USCIS ELIS Form I-526 for both I-526 petitioners and regional centers.
I-526 petitioners can utilize the USCIS ELIS Form I-526 to:
-
Submit the petition electronically and upload corresponding investor documents
-
Track review of the case in real-time
-
Supplement the electronic or paper-based I-526 petition with additional documents available in the document library
-
Certify that documents uploaded are both true and accurate
Regional centers can benefit from the USCIS ELIS document library through providing investors with electronic copies of their investment related documents including:
-
Offering documents
-
Organizational documents
The webinar is limited to the first 100 registrants. Those interested may register by e-mailing the Public Engagement Division at public.engagement@uscis.dhs.gov.
