/>iToday, the Senate confirmed Sylvia Mathews Burwell to the position of Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Burwell, confirmed in a 78-17 vote, will replace outgoing Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
Since August 2013, Burwell had served as the Director of the Office of Management and Budget.
