/>iReal quick, Seantor Blumenthal (D. N.Y.) just penned a letter to the FCC asking it to take further steps to block unwanted and potentially fraudulent text messages. He offered his support in Congress if the Commission needs anything further to help.

The letter comes on the heels of recent FCC work to empower carriers to stop unwanted texts and right before the October 1, 2021 10DLC registration deadline.
We’ll keep an eye on this and see if anything develops at the Commission as a result.
