Jeff Porter, Chair of Mintz Levin's Evironmental Practice, discusses in this video the significantly stricter guidelines by the EPA regarding vapor intrusion and what builders and developers need to know to be compliant:
Jeff for over 25 years, he has advised clients regarding the most complex environmental regulatory compliance and permitting issues.
His extensive litigation and transactional experience provides him with unique insight, enabling him to deliver integrated legal, political, technical, and risk management solutions to the challenges facing owners of contaminated properties.
As a result of Jeff's deep experience in redeveloping contaminated properties, he was appointed to the MassDevelopment Board of Directors by Governor Deval Patrick in December 2013. He also serves as a Trustee of the Massachusetts Environmental Trust, a position to which he was appointed by Massachusetts Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Rick Sullivan; and on several Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection advisory panels, including the Bureau of Waste Site Clean Up Advisory Committee.
Jeff is the Chair of The Nature Conservancy’s Trustee Council, having previously served as the Chair and Vice-Chair of The Nature Conservancy in Massachusetts. The Trustee Council is a catalyst for engagement of the Conservancy’s volunteer leaders worldwide and collaboration between them and the Conservancy’s leadership.
