Friday marked Legislative Day 5. The House and Senate convened at 9:00 a.m. and adjourned by 10:00 a.m. That’s about it. We call it “burning a day.”
The General Assembly is in recess the week of January 15-20 to allow the House and Senate Appropriations Committees to hear details from Governor Brian Kemp and his state agency heads on the Governor’s Amended FY24 and FY25 budget proposals. We’ll return with our regularly scheduled reports on Monday, Jan. 22, but keep up with developments in the interim with #GoldDomeReport.
