Just last month I wrote about a TCPA class action involving mortgage-giant Rocket in connection with allegations of calls continuing after a consumer asked for the calls to stop.

Well just today a different consume has brought ANOTHER class action under the TCPA–once again alleging Rocket failed to follow DNC rules.

The Complaint seeks unspecified damages on behalf of “hundreds, if not thousands” of consumers that were allegedly harmed by similar conduct.

Obviously I don’t know what’s going on with all of these suits but it looks like Rocket has been systematically fighting these.

Per Housing Wire: Rocket has responded to past TCPA lawsuits aggressively denying liability:

[P]laintiff attorneys continue to litter the industry with baseless TCPA claims in hopes of securing quick and lucrative settlements…To date, not one single TCPA class has been certified against Rocket Mortgage. This is a clear indication of just how seriously we take our compliance obligations. There is no merit to this case, and we expect a quick and decisive ruling in our favor.”
