On February 12, 2014, President Obama signed an Executive Order requiring all federal contractors and subcontractors to pay a minimum of wage of $10.10 effective January 1, 2015 and providing for additional future increases as determined by the Secretary of Labor.
The Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance, has issued final rules revising recruitment efforts and record keeping obligations designed to increase the employment of Veterans and Qualified Individuals with Disabilities. These complicated rules become effective March 24, 2014.
