Ltd., and Brookfield Infrastructure Partners’ institutional partners announced an agreement “pursuant to which affiliates of Brookfield Infrastructure and GIC will acquire [Genesee & Wyoming Inc.] in a transaction valued at approximately $8.4 billion ….” (Press Release, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P.
