EEO-1 Reports normally must be filed by September 30th of each year. The EEOC Joint Reporting Committee announced that the 2015 deadline has been extended to October 30, 2015 (see the announcement here). Typically, Joint Reporting accepts requests for extensions of up to 30 days. However, with the deadline now extended for everyone until October 30, 2015, it is unclear whether employers will be permitted to request additional time beyond the new October 30, 2015 deadline.
Although the Joint Reporting Committee has extended the EEO-1 Report deadline, the Department of Labor has not extended the deadline for filing the VETS form 4212 at this time. The filing deadline for the VETS form 4212 currently remains September 30, 2015.
